    Default Well I'm almost back!

I haven't posted anything for quite a while. Turns out the pneumonia that I had in July came back with a vengeance. I spent 15 days in the hospital getting my right lung operated on so antibiotics could get into the infection to kill the bugs 🐜.....and to do that they had to break ribs. I'm on the mend but rolling out the telescope is not possible yet. I'll be back posting soon.....I hope!! Just thought I'd let all my friends on the forum know.

Wow, Tom. I am in Illinois and there has been a lot of lung stuff here...people with pneumonia. I even had it about 2 weeks ago myself, but it didn't turn into pneumonia thank goodness. I'm glad you're on the mend. I look forward to seeing your posts.
Terre Haute... I get down there pretty often. My brother-in-law teaches at Rose.

Rib slicing is VERY far down my list of favorite amusements. The silver lining would be that this is a better time of year for recovery and re-mobilizing, than during the upcoming colder months. Take care of yourself and keep us updated on your progress.

Tom, Buddy! I was wondering the other night what had happened to you!
So sorry to hear of the lung issue. (not to mention those ribs....) Talk about the cure being worse than the disease?!?!?
I just had Arthroscopic surgery on my knee, but that's nothing compared to your goings on....
Please rest up and take care of that body so you'll be ready in time for winter, (OK, maybe spring) imaging!
