    Default Calling all guitar players

The thread "Dusting off a few guitars..." got me thinking... (Not good, just ask my wife )

All you guitar players... What are your current favorite songs to play?

For starters and in no particular order.

    The Weight, The Band
Listen to the Music, Doobie Brothers
    More than a Feeling, Boston
Back on the Road Again, REO Speedwagon
Gimme Three Steps, Sweet Home Alabama, Lynyrd Skynyrd
Can't Get Enough, All Right Now, Bad Company
    Learn to Fly, Foo Fighters
    Edmond Fitzgerald, Gordon Lightfoot
    The Rain Song, Led Zeppelin
Wish You Were Here, Comfortably Numb, Pink Floyd
    No Matter What, Bad Finger

Yup, I was born a LOT of yesterdays ago!

Outside of original stuff, I tend to play a lot of Slayer. Anything off of Reign in Blood, South of Heaven, Seasons in the Abyss. I also love to jam out on a couple Megadeth songs from Peace Sells.... I will never get tired of those.

The last song I worked on learning was a lot more challenging than I thought it was going to be. It's 'Dethsupport' by Dethklok. The funny part was, I found a YouTube video where Brendan Small (Dethklok guitarist) shows how to play the song. He starts the lesson with "I bet you can't play this!". He was right. It took some serious finger stretching and speed practice just for me to be able to play the first 8 measures! To make it even harder, the song timing is in 13/4.
