Re: Nibiru, planet x, someone answer me this

Hi guys, I was wanting someone to put my mind at rest.
Ive been seeing a lot of stuff on the Internet about nibiru/planet x causing great problems between 17th aug - sept 2012.
I am NOT an astronomer, so all the stuff I see read and hear I can't fully understand, but they way I look at it is, if it was real it would of Been picked up buy you guys and would be all over forums just like this one.
So, if what it is ive read isn't real, what is it that certain people are claiming to see and why are they claiming it to be something it isn't ?
If something like this was real and an imonent thread, is there a rule of thumb in the astronomy world that you keep calm and say nothing so not to scare everyone, only fellow Astros would know ? Or is it something as a community you would let rip and let everyone know?
Im sorry if these are daft questions, but from an outsider looking in with no real understanding of the subject it looks quite worrying

We have discussed this on several occasions, it is a hoax and a load of twaddle.
We'd have been able to see it in the day time sky with the naked eye for at least a year by now

If it was real & nasa where air brushing it out & they know the world is coming too an end.why wood they keep working.why not go home & spend the last few months with there loved ones.

And if it was there would all Astros be talking about it?
Is it really just a case of fear mongering by these people who have these claims
where do they find their info and dates ??
