A little while back Keith posted an image of M106 with "only 55min of exposure time". I could not believe how much data he pulled in, in that amount of time.
Well, that's been gnawing away at the back of my head so today, I broke down and pulled the trigger on an Orion 8", F/4 imaging newt!
I figured with the nights being so short here in the summer I might as well make the most of it.
Now I guess I better let the wife know..............![]()

My wife asked me once;"how many telescopes do you need"? My response was;"how many pairs of shoes do you have"? She said;"they go with different outfits". My response;"exactly". I have a very understanding wife, as long as I put things in perspective...Enjoy the new scope.
Clear Skies,
Bob
