Default Was able to find some older Photos Stellafane 2002

Found a few older Stellafane 2002 photos...most of my old photos went with hard drive few years back.

Thought I would throw few up here. This is someone's homemade 32 inch Dob with full autocollimation via remote control, etc....won first place..Sizeable setup... Mini Dob besides the 32" in second image. Good Stuff!

Stellafane is a great and long running star party tradition, homemade scopes and gear is the primary focus of the event, it is amazing the scopes one sees at Stellafane. If I am correct from my memory this is longest running star party historically. People from all over the world attend to compete in the competition of the builds and to see them. My pictures only show very small portion of the observing area, before many scopes were setup. I think attendance was about 1900 people or more that year.
