Cool The Big Bang Theory, TV sitcom

I was just wondering if anybody else here watches the Big Bang Theory tv sitcom. My officemate has been watching it and kept telling me to watch an episode of it but I just cant find time to watch it. Finally I decided to rent the 1st season on Netflix and I started watching it yesterday. The show is hilarious! I can't stop laughing last night, it seems like a lot of the science there are fairly accurate ...now I gonna have to catch up to it. Anyway just want to share that, cheers!

That show used to tick me off... I'd see it listed and check it out thinking it was a documentary. Now, I've started watching it and like it very much, I have three seasons on DVD lol.
If you watch the extras on the DVD's they tell you how the science is incorporated. They have an on staff astrophysicist.. even the equations scribbled on their "boards" are all valid equations pertaining to various theories.

Anyone seen the original pilot that was nixed by the network?
They live in a upper class apartment and dress like professionals. Sheldon is heterosexual rather than asexual. The Penny character is a different actress, she's a druggie type that they met on the street. No Raj or Howard, instead there is a female science geek friend.

Ugh! Sounds like a lot of good episodes ahead. So far i'm at 2nd disc of 1st season and my wife thinks i'm crazy giggling in the livingroom. I was watching some episode on youtube and there's this one where Penny gave Sheldon a christmas gift, the whole sequence of that episode looks funny can't wait to see that episode.
