I know what you mean about the cobras, Corpusse. I have felt that way many times in that situation.

@Astronut74: I know what you mean about Home Depot. Fortunately for me, I have a Lowes just across the street from where I live. Won't shop anywhere else!

If you still have your old plug just solder it onto the new one.

As for your customer service problem. Managers. That's it. If they don't do anything just go over their head and ask to speak to theirs. Eventually it catches up, whether we believe it or not. I had this happen while I was waiting for a big dollar engine part for my car years ago. Store ordered the wrong one and just kinda waited around. I called the store and asked for the next person in the chain of command and somehow ended up with the regional directors office(Entire east coast USA). He made it right knocking 25$ a day until the problem was remedied, even retro'd. Payed a small, small, percentage due to their mix up. It may not seem like it at the time that things will get resolved but remember that your dollars, euro, pound whatever pays their bills and in the end, even though they don't act like it, it does matter.

If you don't like the service, get a ton of things from all over the store in a basket, then go to the cashier and say OH I forgot something! and walk away never to return!!!
