Why is their hazle smoke around the moon?

there is a white background to the moon, and its like smoke or fog.. but right up their in the moon. whats happening?

nothing like a curse or some mythical thing if that is what you expect. its fog... or else smoke from the California fires. Don't worry, its nothing big.
