    Yes, there would be a crater.

    It is not the first time that an impact has been recorded. This one from 2013 was first spotted on video, and the crater was later identified on LRO photos. The "huge" rock referred to in the initial report on that event turned out to be about 8 inches across.

    I may have imaged this. I was watching my laptop screen during capture and saw the flash. I was thinking it was some camera anomaly but I had never witnessed that before. I amused myself with the thought of a meteor strike at the time.

    i will review my data this evening to see if I have anything.
