Only camera I use with my 10" dob is my iPhone. Works well enough for my purposes.

Very nice! I've taken a few iphone shots of the moon on the night of my first light with my 127ED, and a couple of times since then. Yours are much nicer!

Iphone requires an : iOS update for shutter cables to operate Works pretty good & accurate , probably even better if you have 2-3 sec timer as well to reduce camera vibration

    Cheers & Clear Sky's!

Excellent images, I have only tried to hold the cell phone to the eyepiece, very hard to do, at least for me. johnnyb

Haven't tried the pixel phone at the eyepiece yet but I am curious to see if getting a snapshot of the Orion Nebula is possible.

Nice shot Star Blazer. I have been doing a bit of the moon as well with a Samsung note4.

@Michael. I have been trying to catch Orion as well. I have had some small success. There is data in the image of the nebulosity, but it is difficult to bring it out. I am going to keep at it just to see how much I can catch. :-)

Again I say Nice Shot Star Blazer. Thank you for posting. Did you do any processing on this image?

If you go into PS you can remove a good deal of the color ring at the edges of the moon if you so desire. I believe the tool is in the lens correction section....I could be misremembering. :-)
