    Default Some moon close ups...



    This was shot with a 8" f4 newt with a 3x barlow. Seeing was horrible which accounts for why it looks slightly out of focus. You can almost see the image swimming

    Hi Tom. This is superb lunar astrophotography, This is a wall of the Mare Imbrium. The crater at the top left is Eratosthrnes, the crater to the far right center is Manilius, and the large crater to the bottom left is Archimedes. Again, excellent work Tom, and thanks for sharing this with us on here.

    I finally got around to processing another from that set...

    I am beginning to think maybe I was out of focus but again the seeing was really bad
