    Default The Moon tonight

Taken at about 22:00 BST tonight.

First I've taken since getting an RA motor for my scope. It certainly helped while I was focusing and I was able to use a lower ISO and slower shutter speed than usual.

Hi Jason. A superb gibbous moon image from you. Excellent contrast and crisp lunar surface details. Thanks for taking the time to put this up on here for us to enjoy Jason, and I also enjoyed viewing your Flickr gallery of photos too.

Cheers, Always love taking moon pics. I had to rebuild my flickr collection after accidentally removing all my files from the site! Been distracted by the family of badgers in our garden every night too. Had a little baby very close by while I was out there last night. :-)
