    Hi Bob,

I don't know which place would be "wetter", PA or Concrete..LOL. Wife and I are looking for a new home now, and one of those SkySheds is absolutely on the docet..;-) We've looked at a few places, but unless it has a good Southern and Eastern exposure I'm not even considering them..(and the wife is OK with that, so far...).

Skies were very "moist" last night, and with all that moisture and the Moon I didn't get near the time outside I wanted. Still, an hour is better than nuthin'.!

Wow, Mike! Seamless! Again, thanks for your help, and thanks for your friendship. BTW, I am a former neighbor of your's...well, across "the stream". I held forth in Port Angeles for about 10 years until I started out on the road building SkySheds. Truth be told, I don't miss the "wet", the clouds either.

Hope you got some quality time in with your scope last night.

    Clear Skies!

Hello, DizzyGazer! Thanks for the thanks. Potter's book is well worth the trouble of tracking it down. Hope all goes well with you, and...

    Clear Skies!

    Hi Keith,

I would get in touch with Gus (Admin), as I believe he can post the files for you. The preset limits on file sizes in the standard reply window are likely set too low for members to post files.

I have recently compiled some observing lists in spreadsheet format (Messier, Caldwell, Herschel 400, etc) I would like to post them in case others would like to use them. Is there a way to attach the file to a post. Copy/paste would make for a long post.

    Thanks
    Keith

Not a worry at all Gus. Heck, it ain't going to win anything, but it was the first star image I've taken, so that alone made it special to me, and the pic a trophy in it's own right!

    Hi Rich,

Haven't bought the book yet, but it's "on my list" of ones to keep an eye out for. The three I have will hold me for now, and the 3 Vol's of Burnhams is on the way.

Sorry to hear about your F.I.L.. Yep, insurance co's stink, but when we really need them they are damn important to us. Self-insurance are astronomical, and I know the surgery I just had would just about put the wife and I in the poor-house if it wasn't for the Insurance we get via her company.

They really don't know the cause of Meniere's...it's more a "syndrome", and specific set of symptoms. Not cancer though. No real cure, other than the surgery I had, and they don't do that except as a lst resort when the hearing is already gone in the ear.

Been a busy day, and just now (finally!) getting a chance to start assembling the new EQ5 mount and Sky-Watcher 102 AR acromatic that arrived today.

How did you find out about the disease ? I had some sinus problems and it caused vertigo and ear problems . I know about the cancer thing as my father inlaw just past on this last fall . He had kaiser permenante and they never told him about a big PSA count for 2 years , he got a second opinion and found out about it but it was too late . Granted , kaiser came off some pretty serious coin but it wont bring him back ,And now he is in a better place .
