Yeah.. from the US sites i've visited all state International Postage NOT available, implying that its a not go-er.

I've actually emailed a couple of meade suppliers here in Australia... with surprising results price wise.

One store priced the ETX-125AT model for AU+ACQ-2549, add +ACQ-259 for the Eyepiece
offer.

the other store priced the ETX-125AT with UHTC at AU+ACQ-1895.00, Meade
Anniversary Kit +ACQ-239.00 (offer expires 28th Feb 2004 )conditions app

Amazing difference in pricing... unless the latter is priced excluding GST..
need to find that out.

Hey.. another plan of attack in regards to pricing.. Well.. If you purcahse
the scope here in Australia and are planning a trip overseas, you can take
advantage of TRS (Tourist Refund Scheme) at the airport, you fly outta the
country with the goods with a valid receipt (no less than 30 days old) and
you get your tax on the item returned to you. Being a Kiwi (NZ passport) now
living in Sydney.. great news 4 me
