Default Please Help? Which telescope to choose: Orion Apex 90m, Meade 114EQ-ASTR vs....

...Celestron PowerSeeker 127 EQ ??? Well I narrowed it down to just 3:

    Orion Apex 90m
    Meade 114EQ-ASTR
    Celestron Power Seeker 127 EQ
reason: My son (he is 13 yrs and it will be his telescope) stated that he wanted something he can carry around not to big but yet he is abel to see deep space???
He is concerned about going to the airport and not abel to carry everything with him when he visits his grandparents....

Well there on one hand he wants to see deep space objects, which requires a lot of aperture. On the other hand, he wants a "travel scope" which has to be sturdy and small enough to easily travel by air with.

He needs to choose which is more important to him. The Celestron Power Seeker would be the better of the three for deep space viewing because it has the largest aperture. The Orion Apex 90mm would be the better travel scope because it's smaller and it's a Maksutov Cassegrain, which is sturdy and won't need to be collimated as much so it can hold up to the handling better.
