    Default Meade StarNavigator question

I just acquired a Meade StarNavigator NG 125 MCT and have a question about using it find specific deep sky objects. Is there any easy way to just find specific object? For instance, if I want to observe M29, is there a way to just tell it to go to M29, without having to scroll through an endless list?

    Welcome to the forum!!

I do not have that specific mount, but you should be able to quickly go into the Messier list and then input the number without having to scroll through a bunch of stuff. There should be lists of Messier, Caldwell, SAO and others where you just input the number and it will go directly there.

Dad has a 114 which I believe works the same. I would ask him to answer, he has been under the weather since last batch of nerve tests on Monday.
Gabby has the right answers. Thanks Gabby

Not according to the chart on page 26.
It should be under deep sky as far as I am concerned.

Thanks to all who responded. It is indeed a misprint in the manual. I was looking for the Messier list under Stars where the manual says it is. I found it at the bottom of the Deep Sky menu.

It's unbelievable how poorly written is the manual for StarNavigator telescopes. So full of errors.

That is indeed true. The manual is very poorly written in general.
