Question Meade Electronic Model 114EQ-DH 2" to 1.25" Eyepiece Holder Adapter?

    Hello,

I just acquired a Meade Electronic Model 114EQ-DH telescope from a friend. But noticed that it came with a .965" eyepiece holder, and a set of cheap eyepieces.

After searching around for information on this scope, I found out that Meade originally offered a FREE replacement 2" to 1.25" adapter for this scope. Is this adapter still available, and if so, is it still FREE?

If Meade doesn't carry these adapters anymore, does anybody know where I can get one?

I'm told this scope wasn't that bad for the price range it was originally targeted for. Only that the eyepieces and finder scope were cheap, and should be replaced with better quality units to achieve the best views through it.

Any information concerning this scope, or help in locating one of those 2" to 1.25" eyepiece holder adapters would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you,

This is a stretch, but how much did you pay for it? I just founds one at Goodwill and trying to determine if the price ($150) is good or not.
