    Default LX90GPS-10 Aux Connecter ports

I bought a second hand LX90GPS-10 scope and I was wondering what the aux ports on the computer control fork az/alt mount are used for?
The Manual refers to the option page but does not give any details.
I believe older models of the LX90 used to be able to use auto guiding to drive the scope. I do not know what year my LX90GPS is.
But it does have 2 aux connector slots.

I have an ultra wedge and would like to get in to astrophotography and realize I have a huge learning curve. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

Yes you could buy a 909 adapter module that plugged into the AUX port-- these can still be found (a clone version) out on the internet.

The 2 aux port are for aux items that you will find hard to find, it needs the #909 port module which are obsolete and as Joe says you might get one on ebay or a clone, primarily the #909 will also give you a socket to provide power to a reticule eyepiece to help centre objects, it also provides the power to drive an electric focuser, via pc/laptop, and it also is used for the smartfinder using the true north module, but as you have the GPS model you wont need it, to be honest you dont really need it, i looked at it too but no real benefit in having it, if you want remote focus there are alternatives at the JMI website ,( ive just ordered electric focuser and pc smart to allow laptop focus) hope this helps.
