    Default can a nikon d40 be attached to a telescope? The telescope is a Meade DS-2000 series.?

    Yes it can .. I use my Nikon's on my telescope a few times a year.

    I have a "T-Mount" camera adapter and a 25 mm "T-Mount" to telescope adapter.
