LX90 Telescope?

 LX90 Telescope? I have an LX90 telescope and have a short in the wiring. I am trying to get the forks separated to get into the wiring. I have taken all screws etc off but the case of the forks does not want to separate and I do not want to force it. Does anybody know how to separate the case. Thank you      |
