Default F =? x g, (? = surface condition) How does surface condition affect and...

...differ from gravity(F) on mars &earth? F = ma
F= ? x N
F= ? x g (since N = g [pressure of object is due to gravity])

So what is surface condition? I don't get it.
If i infuse F= ma and F = ? x g,
since acceleration = due to gravity,
F=? x a.
Does that mean mass = surface condition? or mass is affected by surface condition? I'm confusedd.
