    Default CubePro in EQ mode?

Anyone know if the CubePro will work in EQ mode, assuming it was put on a suitable wedge?

Seeing as its uses the same firmware (V090701W) as the minitower and the firmware has provisions for EQ mode then I dont see why not.. I use my MT with that firmware and it operates fine in EQ mode.
    cheers.

Graham, I came to the same conclusion but was wondering if anyone had tried it. Also wondering how one initializes the controller - what is the starting position for the EQ mount? I guess one way is to cobble up a wedge and see what happens, but I thought someone might have already done it.
    Thanks!

    Hi William, welcome!
yes Paul here has not only done it in EQ mode but also has autoguiding setup. As Graham mentions it only seems to need EQ mode, a wedge, and pointing at zero position to the NCP or SCP.

I am sure he will checkin here soon

    William.
A point to remember that after initial set-up and after setting the controller to EQ you must reboot the controller for it to work. Then your good to go.
    cheers.
    Graham.

Hi, just refer to the stickies at the top of this section for auto guiding on a wedge. And, for EQ setup you need to download the Cube A manual and refer to it.

    Paul,

The hint about the manual for the Cube A is just what I was looking for, thanks.
