    Yes on the assembly. Tried to upload some pictures, failed to upload. Not sure why. Been working on the dome for a few days. Only thing left is the shutter. On the dome itself. Today is to windy. 20+mpr winds. Wind chill is 10°. Still have to finish the building it sits on. Controls and wiring also need to be complete.

    Well figure I could run some of the electric. Fired up the torpedo heater. Mounted the outlet boxes. Dug out the hammer drill. Well my drill attachment is missing. Can't drill holes without it. My 18 volt drill batteries no longer hold much of a charge. It almost like the dome is not going to get done.

    Shutter is now on. Almost weather tight. 4 to 8 inches of snow coming. Still can not upload more photos.

    I'm in the same boat as you, exactly. I just posted about moving to a more rural location, one with few trees to catch fire or stay in suburbia, switch to narrowband but with a much bigger backyard. My timeline is one year and I hope to be retired by then. It feels like I'm fighting the hands of time.
    AstroTech 106 Triplet APO, Celestron 11" EdgeHD, AstroPhysics 900GTO, Canon 60Da and a bunch of other stuff.
