First light with z10

    I brought my z10 out tonight after setting it up last night. The first thing I looked at was the moon. The image was so clear and crisp with the 30mm EP. I then put in the 9mm and the view was the best I seen with any of my telescopes. I moved over to Saturn and was surprised to see two moons with the 30mm. The 9mm gave an incredible view. I saw a lot of detail in the clouds and rings. I tried to find Mars but it was a little low and close to a neighbors light.

    It really makes you appreciate what an awesome planet we live on.If we could just get the politics out of the equation.The better your eyes adjust the more will become apparant.These astronomers on this site really know there stuff ,have been at it for as long as I've been alive. kudos

    Wait till you see an open cluster with the 30mm, Diamonds on black velvet! Great scope.

    I got my Z10 in July too and it's a great scope...better than even I expected. Images are crisp and clear and already is pulling in those deep sky objects including some of the difficult ones. Good luck with your observing in the future...
