Hi my fellow Zhumellians!

I have had mine for about 3 days, almost fell into collimation OCD, have spent plenty of time swooning over Jupiter, and have swam among the stars with my wide field 30mm. Now I want to know what else can I see, will i be able to see Saturn's rings? How about Mars' polar ice caps? I have the two EP's that came with it and a moon filter. I am very interested in also seeing nebula's if possible. Please any help, advice, info will be greatly appreciated.

I have a Z10 with a telrad, forgot to include that! LOL!

My first advice would be to download Stellarium. It's a fantastic planetarium program.

You should be able to see M31 The Andromeda Galaxy, M57 The Ring Nebula, M8 The Lagoon Nebula, Alberio (a very pretty blue and gold double star), M42 The Orion Nebula, and M13 The Great Hercules Cluster.

You should be able to easily see anything that's magnitude 9 and brighter. Using Stellarium will help you to plan your observing session. Also check out manual setting circles. If you want some details, feel free to PM me.

Get yourself an Ultra High Contrast filter. It will make the background darker so dimmer deep sky objects pop out at you. It also helps with light pollution. I use Zhumell's 2" UHC filter. It's reasonably priced and works very well.
