File loading into Star tools.

    Hi guys,

I went onto the hubble archive website and found a lovely rendition of the Antenna Galaxies that can be downloaded and processed.

    My question is this,

There are four files, Red, green ,blue and HA.
When loading the red and blue there is no problem, loading the green and star tools tells me it is a different size to the others and will not load it.
So what do I do now?

The red, blue and HA files already produce a fine looking image in star tools and I would love to have the green in there too.
Here is a link to the files:https://www.spacetelescope.org/proje.../antennaedata/

    Help please.

Here is what I get from the R/B/HA

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Thanks Scott!

I will give this a try.
I have attempted the synthetic luminance before and it works really well.
Now I have something new to learn. And DSS will be new to me too.
So there may be more questions coming, watch this space.

Your renditions came out great Scott!
There is some great material to work with on the hubble archive site, it just requires some digging in most cases.

    Cheers

I managed to get all the files to the same size and ran them through DSS using the tutorial you linked to.

Now, in the green image there is a nasty "line" running across the image, how do you eliminate this?

    Cheers

    Thanks Scott!

Will give that a try, as I have failed to eliminate it so far!

    Cheers

I have no idea how to attach a log file in the groups Scott.

Here is my attempt at getting rid of that nasty line.
Now I need to create a synthetic LUM and add that into the mix!
