I have an "older" Orion 6" Deep Space Explorer that is currently under "rebuild/refurbishment" ... shes a beauty that has (apparently) not seen much use ... I have re-fit her with a new curved-vane spider and secondary along with a new 1.25" focuser (to replace the helical focuser that had the "stem" mounted secondary) ...

Orion XT8. I have not had too much of a chance to use it yet, but what I've seen with it so far has not done anything less than please me.
It's quite amazing how many stars I'm NOT seeing with my naked eye.

Hello! I have the starblast 6. Still learning, I haven't had it very long and we haven't had many clear nights.

Hello all. I just bought an older 8" Deep Space Explorer. Looks like rain and clouds most of the week, though.

Dont have anything yet but i have it narrowed down to 5(yes that is still alot but..) so if you would give me your input they are, Orion ShortTube 80 Equatorial Refractor Telescope, Orion StarBlast 6 Astro ReflectorTelescope, Orion SkyQuest XT6 Classic Dobsonian Telescope, Orion SpaceProbe 130ST EQ Reflector Telescop, and the Orion StarMax 90mm Equatorial Mak-Cass Telescope. I want a scope that is pretty good with most everything in the sky and has a good sturdy mount. So if you could give me your input or suggest other scopes please tell me. Thanks

Hi . . . have an 80mm ST, 120mm ST, 8" f4.9. Specially interested in tinkering tips, refurb, rehap, & optical testing; and oh yes, using them a LOT.
