hello all im new here and figured id input my favorite nubula............m42 of course.the 2nd beauty i found in the sky after the moon.i enjoy looking at it whenever i can although its about outta reach for me now.i see blue and green colors when i view it with the 10"

My favorite is NGC3242 (Ghost of Jupiter) in Hydra because I found it accidentally the day I bought my telescope.

I'm surprised that nobody suggested this. You know, the showpiece of the sky? the branching, delicate structure that captivates anyone with enough aperture to take it all in?
My favorite is the veil.

M42 is obviously an amazing sight. The Ring nebula is (M57) is also an amazing objects to look at.
I also recently saw the Swan nebula (M17) too which surprised me.
It really is hard to say what my favorite is.

I don't remember it's name... The one with blue bubble in the middle is my favorite. I think it was in NASA's picture of the day.

I'm a fan of Planetary Nebula. M57 (Ring), M97 (Owl) and NGC 2392 (Eskimo) are among my favorites.
