My favorite Messier objects is definitely M31. Amazing sight.

At this point I'd have to say M81/82, two galaxies in one FOV blows my mind. M17 is also very nice, in my light polluted skies it looks like a comet. Lots of love for M42 as well and M13 and M22. I can't pick just one....

among the galaxies, it is M31, M81, M82
among the open clusters, it is the Pleyades, and the Beehive,
among the planetary nebulas, it is the Ring and the Dumbbell, and the Little Dumbbell as well as,
among the emission clouds, it is the Greta Orion Nebula and the Lagoon.

Difficult to say, which one is the most favourite, it depends on the season.
