Thought I would start a group with the sole purpose of disscusing observations of items on Messier's list. I realize that this overlaps groups for Clusters and Galaxies, so if the moderators feel it necessary to combine this with other groups that is fine.

Do you guys get the same enjoyment from observing the gaseous nebs, and like eliptical galaxies than say an open cluster or irregular galaxy?
