Hi Terry. I remember many years ago, this weather condition happened here in Florida. High winds had blown sand from Western Sahara and carried it across the Atlantic Ocean towards Florida here. I saw a light brown haze in the sky, low to the eastern horizon in the early morning sky. I have never seen it again since. It seems that all I see lately are rain clouds. I did have a great sky when I went out the other morning at 6am to view the last ISS fly by, and had I known that it was going to be so good, I would have gone out at 2am with a scope. I hope that you continue to enjoy some decent skies, and best of regards.
