Moon Favorites.....

My favorite right now is Enceladus, one of Saturn's moons. Enceladus is small, only about 500km across (not much bigger than new york state), but for such a small moon it still contains many different types of terrains. Some of its surface is dense with craters, other parts of smooth, or with ridges, suggesting some of its surface is young. It is thought that some form of tectonics is going on under the surface.
There is also a plume of material being spewed out from its south polar region, which was examined by Cassini and found to be largely water vapor. This plume may be what formed one of saturn's outer rings, Ring E.

It is believed that there could be oceans of liquid water under the surface, so Enceladus is a possible candidate for life. Interesting.

    Europa/Our Moon

I love how at night Luna sparkles through black skies & hides through the clouds. Even on a 2" telescope, 1 can see craters. The man on the moon. & its "seas."If 1 day 1 could somehow stand on the moon without any astronaut suits or anything, muse of how relaxing itd be just laying down on the Sea of Tranquility. The stars and the Earth hovering

Im a fan of Europa.Im sure theres extraterrestrials on that glacier moon. Its beautiful & if like I said, 1 day,ppl could stand on it without astronaut suits,Itd be a super ice rink. Itd be cool that probably, in the future, well have bases on the 4 main moons & wed just race around Jupiter and see the other moons from far away.Idk.

I am a big fan of Europa. With so much liquid water I think there is a good chance for some form of life. I'm also intrigued at the outer ice formations and how the strong tidal forces of Jupiter continually crack the surface ice.
