Although I had a small refractor many years ago I am really a novice. I never had the ability to see deep sky objects. I'm anxiously awaiting clear skies so I can find some nebula and star clusters!!!! I just purchased a 10 inch Meade Dobsonian a few days ago. I posted a pic of the scope and a couple of quick pics that I took of the moon. I simply used my cheap digital camera and the pics are poor quality but give a pretty good idea of what you see with two different lenses. I used the 27mm lens that comes with the scope and then I used a 14mm Meade series 5000 plossl. Anxious to look around this board when
