CentralDS CDS-600 - opinions?

I've read some very favourable reviews and seen great pics taken with this camera and its siblings (details here:Cooled DSLR | CDS-1100D & CDS-600D)
I'm seriously considering this option. It seems to have most of the benefits of the JTW approach (MAYBE slightly less effective cooling) in a rather better conceived and executed package.

Phil, what kind of customer feedback and results have they had?

Excellent from what I've been able to research so far... No complaints or issues reported. There is a reasonably intensive review on CN.
I'm waiting for an email from them...

In any case...the fact is that the JTW product is better....regardless of other difficulties

Not sure how that is a FACT? - it is certainly an opinion...

I'm looking forward to the JTW images from all of the new owners to compare with these... Cooled DSLR | User_Gallery

Unfortunately that is the worst way to compare two products because individual processing techniques, imaging conditions etc come into play A LOT. I can show images from uncooled DSLRs that will probably be able to match the images from the CentralDS library. The best way to compare is either for the same person to image and process the same target under the same conditions with the two different products or simply compare technical characteristics eg. readout noise, cooling, durability, quality of design, ability to utilize lenses and clip filters, user friendliness, ability to interface with PC etc

    For example:
    1. Cooled (Cooled DSLR | ic2188_centralds)
    2. Non-cooled (Astronomers Do It In The Dark - IC 2118 - The Witch Head Nebula in Eridanus - Nebulaes - Gaseous and dust nebulae (clouds))

Yes I'm fully aware of that thanks. My point is that at least there ARE some CentralDS images...
I'm still waiting to see some JTW ones.
    We'll soon see...
