Baader ClickLock Star Diagional on Nexstar Evolution OT?

Reaching out, again, for answers. Anyone using Baader 2" ClickLock system on their Nexstar Evolution OT?

Hope I can explain this clearly. I ordered a "Baader Planetarium 2" Clicklock Adapter for Smaller 2" SCT Thread" and attached it to my 8" Nexstar Evolution OT. I already own the Baader ClickLock star Diagional that is used on my 9.25 Edge HD, which requires the larger 2" thread adapter ring. The larger thread adapter ring twists a quarter turn to lock eyepieces or the star Diagional in place.

Back to my 8" Nexstar Evolution OT. When I slid the ClickLock star Diagional into the smaller adapter ring, I could only twist it about an inch to lock it. Same issue when I inserted a couple of different brands of 2" eyepieces. However, everything seemed to be secured and locked in place with the shorter twist of the ClickLock adapter ring.

Question is, does the smaller thread ClickLock adapter have a shorter twist to lock eyepieces in place?

    Thank you,
    Pixie

Hi Pixie, if you haven't already, you may want to post this question in the Celestron NexStar thread or the eye pieces thread, it may get more hits there and a good answer to your inquiry. Wish I could help you, but I have a High Point Scientific diaganol, and their 2" visual back that I use on both of my scopes. The other thing you might do is contact Baader directly, or who you purchased the item from to see if they can answer your question. Good luck and clear skies.
