    Good work Gus!

I have a suggestion as a "yearling" astronomer (I just celebrated my first year as a telescope owner):
Why don't star charts show the star's colours? (Yellow for Aldebaran, red for Betelgeuse, blue for Rigel etc.).
As a starhopping newbie last year, I could have used (and could still use) such a chart to find my way around.

It is a complete mystery to me why star chart publishers have not capitalized on this very rich source of information.

I have several charts and guides, none of which show star colours.
(I bought a beautiful Peterson Field guide that has charts with coloured stars and I was really happy until I realized the colours were coded for spectral types, and not as a visual aid!).

    Anyway, that's my two cents.

I printed this out and gave it a few tries on a high end and low end printer. Honestly, the idea is good but the .jpg isn't. The lossy format leads to artifacts, especially apparent around the large text. I reduced this greatly in photoshop, but it's still an issue in my opinion. Perhaps you could reupload the image again as a PNG or something similar.

I do like the simplicity of this, the clean white background, and large text. You kept this simple, and it is very easy to read in the dark. There are no pointless lines or markings, just what we need to star hop and locate objects that we could actually hope to see, and for that I salute you.

I can actually use this to help out in the field, it's no often I say this with paper very rarely. When will you be uploading more? Can I distribute these? Could you please watermark in the future? This is good enough to have someone steal credit for.

I know this is an old thread, but any sort of update on this project? Any help needed? I use The SkyX that came with my scope. When on a laptop in the field I havethe screen turned as dark as I can stand, and a red tint over everything. I have never used a chart, but I think it would still be easier on the eyes then my current setup.
