Default Suggestions for stargazing spots in Michigan?

Hello, new member here so hopefully this is the appropriate section to post in.

I'm looking for good stargazing spots anybody might be able to suggest in Michigan, preferably (but not an absolute must) as near to the Lansing area as possible. I don't drive - so that is why I'm asking as near to my area (Lansing) as possible - but I've really been longing to see a star drenched night sky for a while now so as long as it is at least in my state and/or accessible by some form of public transport that is fine.

Thank you very much and I look forward to any responses.
