Default Best Night Sky Events of November 2018

Here is the latest report from Chris Vaughan of SkySafari Software, at Space.com. It provides information on several interesting observing opportunities throughout the month of November with 26 pages of interesting pictures, maps, and information for this month. Don't be confused by the not updated text which still reads "October". It includes the Northern Taurids meteor shower, which appear from September 23rd to November 19th annually. This long-lasting, weak shower, offering up to 5 meteors per hour at the peak, is derived from debris dropped by the passage of periodic Comet 2P/Encke, and also a bonus "new moon" on November 7th. You can find it here, at:
    https://www.space.com/33974-best-night-sky-events.html
I hope this helps in your observing plans and that it is useful to you. Thanks for looking, and the best of wishes for many clear night skies.

Refractors kick arse precisely because they don't hide behind excuses. That is, they have no obstructions to hide behind.
