    Default M20, m8, m16, m17 & m24

My Messier objects list keeps clicking away. Eventually I'll make it to all of them. I started off last night with Saturn and it was just a short hop to these great Nebula in the Teapot. Fun night. The Lagoon nebula is always a favorite of mine. I don't have a great set up for photography (AP), but I may have to start thinking about that. I have an EOS 1D, but it's a brick weight wise and I don't really want to mount it to my focuser. Maybe I'll pick up a cheap used Digital Rebel, and a Teleconverter with a T-Mount and start with the moon.

Nice! Sagittarius and surrounding area sports an excellent concentration of Messier objects!

If you've got 30 logged, or will soon, be sure to put in for the forum's Messier visual award! See the sticky threads in the Reports subforum for details. If you want.
