Default Best Night Sky Events of August 2018

Here is the latest report from Chris Vaughan of SkySafari Software, at Space.com. It provides information on several interesting observing opportunities throughout the month of August, with 33 pages of interesting pictures, maps, and information for this month, including the asteroid 4 Vesta on August 1/2 and the Perseid meteor shower on August 12/13.

I hope this helps in your observing plans and that it is useful to you. Thanks for looking, and the best of wishes for many clear night skies.
