    Default Perseid Meteor Shower

Seems it is time for a annual shower.
I prefer soap and shampoo myself, but... oh sorry, wrong shower.

11 days until the Perseid's Meteor Shower peak.
I'm assuming I'll be clouded out like most showers, but I might get lucky this year.
May everyone have clear sky that week.

The great thing about the Perseids is that all you need is two M1 eyeballs, a comfy chair and lucky skies.

    Thanks Jim for the reminder!

On the night of the Perseids shower, I put a bagno massaggio https://www.google.com/search?client...J4RDZzPZH6YIM: to wash my feet in front of the observing chair.
That's just for case a rain should be missing during the Perseids shower.

My granddaughter and daughter will be with us this year - hope we actually get to see something! At least when the past few years have clouded out it was during times when the Moon would have been washing things out anyway - not so this year

I thought about going over to the east and drier part of Washington state, but with all of the fires going on, might as well stay at home. My home skies are a bortle 4.5, dark yellowish on a color map. All I really have to do is put up some light blocking tarps and kick back in my zero grav chair.
