Default Best Night Sky Events of March 2018

Here is the latest report from Chris Vaughan of SkySafari Software, at Space.com. It provides information on several interesting observing opportunities throughout the month of March, with 27 pages of interesting pictures, maps, and information for this month. The March full moon, also known as the Worm Moon, Crow Moon, Sap Moon or Lenten Moon, always shines in or near the stars of Leo, particularly Regulus along the ecliptic..

I hope this helps in your observing plans and that it is useful to you. Thanks for looking, and the best of wishes for many clear skies.

Thanks for the link Marshall. For some reason Space.com reverts from a graphical to a text based page after about 10 seconds and is not very user friendly. It used to be OK and I've tried to report the issue to the site owners but haven't had a response.

    Cheers

Hi Bob. Sorry to hear about your troubles logging on. I checked the link after I posted this, and it worked fine, as it does now too. However, I posted a song on this thread a few days ago, and I got some pms that reported that they could "not connect", although it worked fine on my machine, at:
    Playing Sinatra.....
So, I had to find another youtube song supplier to get the song up for the thread. Computers are funny, well no not really. I am using an old XT computer with Mozilla Firefox. I have been reporting these monthly reports for over two years now, and it may be due the increased accompanying advertisements, so let's see what others have to say on here, and maybe an IT expert can help us out. Thanks Bob, and the best of regards.

Thanks Marshall. On my desktop I'm subscribed to get notifications (which I do) but then I have the problem after clicking the notification. Tried my laptop just typing the URL and no problems with the graphical display. It's no big deal but a little frustrating for sure. Maybe someone can help us.

    Cheers

Sounds good. Now if only the weather would change and all this snow would go. Nothing but overcast skies for two weeks now...

I opened it with Edge's Developer's Tools window open and -- it has some issues -- primarily from the advertisements that try to attach themselves to the page -- a common issue with this type of sponsored site.

I am not positive, but your audio might have the wrong MIME type. I can investigate it more if you would like, Marshall.
