Default Best Night Sky Events of September 2017

Hi all. I am sorry that I am so late with this, but first was the Labor Day weekend, and then the dealing with Hurricane Irma in Florida. Here is the latest list from Space.com. It provides information on several interesting observing opportunities throughout the month of September (what's left of it) , with 24 pages of interesting pictures, maps, and information for this month. Find it here, at:
    https://www.space.com/33974-best-night-sky-events.html
I hope this helps in your observing plans and that it is useful to you. Thanks for looking, and the best of wishes for many clear skies.

Great article, thanks for sharing. Saw many of the events this September here in the Northeast USA. Only been cloudy here last few nights. Moon was a DSO killer most of the month, but this last weekend was a real dark sky treat. Many DSO's were well observable with transparent skies.

Triangulum, Andromeda and Ring Galaxy were especially good as the were just near zenith around midnight. Transparency was exceptional and made for great viewing.

Been pretty neat to catch Mercury and Venus in the early AM this month, after the moon went down. Nice to start setting Orion again too, love the nebulae.

    Cheers
