    Default Another telescope session

    I'll be out today with my telescope, hoping to see Saturn and maybe Jupiter again, maybe the Moon, but it gets above the local horizon a bit late. I might also try to spot some of Messier's fuzzies.
    I'll paste in what I use in my journal:
    -Time: 21:00-04:00 GMT +03:00 (Early as the local horizon is being aggravating for viewing Jupiter)
    -Location: Home, Oravita, Caras-Severin, Romania
    -Clouds: 0 %
    -Temperature: 25 -> 14 C
    -Humidity: 62 -> 88%

    Will report after the viewing. If anyone has some deeper insight on how certain factors can influence viewing, please post.

    Well, that session ended quickly. But not because of bad reasons.
    I managed to get the phone mount to sort of work with the 10mm Kellner I have.
    I know that this isn't much but, considering what I had to work with (Aiming the thing required to wake the inner Simo Häyhä in me), I think it went quite well:
    Jupiter 1 (Europa).jpg
    Jupiter 2 (Ganymede, Callisto).jpg
    Saturn.jpg

    So that was pretty much it. Peered at Jupiter (Europa and Io were pretty much overlapped, but Callisto and Ganymede were visible) and Saturn. Still amazed that the thing worked.
