    Default Comet 45P\Honda-Mrkos-Pajdusakova

"On the night of 6 to 7 November astronomer Martin Mashek (Martin Maek) in social network Facebook announced the rediscovery of the comet. Unfortunately, we can not tell with the help of what has been done and a rediscovery of brilliance comet was at that time. It is known that the comet was located in the constellation Sagittarius, on which it moves today.
December 31 the comet will pass perihelion at a distance of 0.533 AU from the sun, having a gloss of about 7 zv.vel. Near this date, at the latitude of Moscow (55 degrees) there will be a low over the south-western side of the horizon, with elongation of 32 degrees.
The best conditions for observing the comet will develop in February 2017, already in the morning sky.
February 11 the comet will approach our planet up to 0.08 AU Expected shine zv.vel be 6-7. Comet is an easy target for observations not big telescope!
In our latitudes (43 degrees to Sochi. M.) Comet 45P \ Honda-Mrkos-Pajdusakova will be available to the observations already since December, in the rays of sunset! In January, it will rise slightly above the constellation of Capricorn and Aquarius! And in February it will begin to reach maximum brightness and move higher in the sky!
Predicted brightness: December - up to 7.1, January - to 6.9, February - up to 6.6"

I had been playing with my finally updated Stellarium 0.15.0 (old computer couldn't not manage those graphics) and it seems like mid December will be a good time to start hunting for it in binoculars:
