I read good reviews about this place for observing and decided to go. I think it's the darkest place on the east coast of th United States. It was amazing. There were probably about 10x as many stars and the Milky Way and andromeda Galaxy were visable. Many dsos that are not visible in the city are visible here. I also saw a couple meteors every hour. Has anyone else been yet?

Here is a one minute exposure .
You can see the andromeda Galaxy in the top.

Great report! Was there back around Labor Day weekend for the Almost Heaven Star Party. Really wonderful spot. The Milky Way is vivid for sure.
    Thanks!, Condensermike
