    Default Check lists

I've printed out checklists for Messiers and Caldwells (from Wikipedia) and am working my way through these by constellation. I'd like to also download and print similar for accessible double stars (I've a Celestron Nexstar6SE). I know there is a database in the Celestron for double stars, but I'd like a hard copy version that allows me to tick off my successful double star views. Is there such a checklist available?

There is the Struve catalogue for double stars.

Here is a list of "Coloured Doubles" from the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada. It's a fun list to work with some lovely doubles.

I was going to post a link to the astroleague double star observing program which has a list, but the site is down right now.

They are usually my first stop for lists. The added bonus of earning pins for each completed list too ;-)

Bill Steen (MistrBadgr) just posted a most excellent PDF of this list, along with great observing/locating notes for each double star listed: http://www.astronomyforum.net/astron...find-them.html
