    Default Saturn found!!!!,

I am very happy to report I have discovered Saturn.
Holy science fiction!!! I aimed my Meade infinity 80
telescope to the SSW than aimed 46 degrees up
Used my low power eye to find dim star at the constlation
Libra focused it, than it did not come to point it kind if flat out,
than went to my mid power eye piece focused again
It came to a shape of a UFO, than went my high powered eye piece used my x2 Barlow lens
Refocused and there it was Saturn.
I can see the planet and the rings , what a sight to be hold.
I couldn't get enough seeing it I kept it track
Oh man if was not these light ibcan get a better veaw.
I also find the angry red planet Mars according to my
mobile star chart Saturn and Mars near by.
Now to figure when Saturn will be a little more close.
This telescope does what it says.
    I am very pleased.

Awesome! Thats about how i stumbled onto Saturn . I saw a yellowish star in the sky and decided to point my 4 inch reflector at it. I was using a 32mm plossl. I saw that it had rings and ohhh was it a site to behold haha

Unfortunately, Saturn is getting lower every day and will soon be totally gone until next year. You will not be able to get a better view of it until then.

I suggest you download Stellarium (free download) to a mobile device. That will show you exactly what is there to see and where it is.

It will show you the position of the planets, stars, clusters, nebula, galaxies, globulars, all the Messier objects, and every thing there is to see up there, not just constellations.

It is not free to a PC but is free for a mobile device like a tablet.

I have Autostar Suite but it is not as useful as Stellarium.
