Believe or not this is star or at least I think it is,
It could be a planet it might be Venus but it was my first light.

Looks like is Venus, the third brightest object in the sky after the sun and the moon.

A good (most brand names are good) 2x Barlow is all you will ever need. A 3x Barlow is not nearly as useful, it will over power most EPs with your scope. A 5mm EP is as high as you will be able to regularly go. A 10mm EP+2x Barlow will achieve this. On occasions of good seeing or if you are looking at the moon, you will be able to use the 2x Barlow with a 7-9mm EP. On the rarest of occasions (I mean 2-3 times a year rare if you are lucky enough to catch it) you will be able to 2x Barlow a 5mm EP, I don't even have one. I do have a 3x Barlow, but it was one of my earliest purchases when I was very inexperienced, so I do not suggest you buy one. You would be able to regularly use a 3x Barlow with a 15mm EP or longer, but it would be rare to use it with anything shorter.
