    I use regularly a set of Carl Zeiss Jena eyepieces that are around 1918.... Near a century ago!

    Mine is not a patch on the others here but I thought I'd mention it anyway hehe.
    Its an Orion Optics UK 6" reflector bought pre-millennium, around 1998/9. Its still going strong and is my primary scope until i get a better one, ha!

    My first telescope which I still own, I think the first purchase made from my first jobs wages in late 1969. A Tasco VTE 50 x 40mm variable power refractor. Needs some restoration work, the rack for the focuser is broken. Clear skies.

    Ok, since a couple of you brought this thread back to life...my oldest is my 1959 Unitron Model114 (60/900mm, altazimuth refractor)...then and now photos below. I still use it for personal observing and ocasionally take it out to the local outreach program. Will eventually go to one of my grandsons.

    I have a 1962 8" Edmund Scientific Newtonian Reflector. I purchased it from a good friend In 1994-95. The mirrors were recoated just before i bought it. I love this telescope!
